According to ourselves, the Spring team, we think that our learning skill really grows. We become more
initiative day by day. We try to do the portfolio without the teacher asking us
to do it everyday, like what the teachers used to do to us when we were in Primary
school, it was much easier back then. well, anyways, we are now in Secondary
school now, and we become more initiative, we do our work outside school without
being asked by the teacher.
We are more self discipline too. We obey the
rules, and we try to find time for us to do the History portfolio together, we
usually meet in school during study and reading time, and also we often meet in
our homeroom class, 7A. We discuss History topics in our homeroom most of the
time.
We are more organized than before, last
time, during our Primary years, we used to put our books everywhere, and they
often get lost, then our teacher gets angry to us, but now that issue doesn’t
happen to us anymore, we are more organized, we also tidy our lockers, and
organize the books in it.
Our teamwork also grows. We work better as a
team. We definitely need to work together to make this portfolio, and Mr. Rick
once told us that this portfolio is meant to be done together, so we did
exactly that. We pass all the documents to Jennifer, one of the member of the Spring team, and let her put the documents in the blog, and we decorate and look for errors together. We divide our jobs equally among each other, so that our work is
lesser and it makes the work more efficient for us.
Leadership in our team really grows, in our
Primary years, we don’t really have that much projects as we do now, so our
leadership skills aren’t that good, and as for now, our leadership skills are
improving, because we had lots of projects, and as we do 1 project to another,
we are having better skills in leadership.
On the other hand, our knowledge also grow,
we are more knowledgeable than we are before, last time, we don’t know much
about Louis XVI, but now, we really know him well, we know
about Louis XVI from our guts. Knowing about most of the History
topics are so easy and we know it from our guts, we don’t do any memorization,
and we just know it, like knowing that we have 10 fingers and not 12 fingers.
It means that we understand the topics and not memorize the topics, it is just
that simple like knowing that we have 10 fingers and not 12 fingers.
