Notes on Bloom's pyramid

Bloom's pyramid level 1!


In level one of Bloom’s pyramid:
  • ·      To get a passing grade or a 60 in Bloom’s pyramid, we need to remember our slides.
  • ·      To get a 70 or a “B” we need to understand the slide that we are presenting.
  • ·      To get an 80 or an “A” we need to apply it and analyze it.
  • ·      To get a “90” or an “A+” we need to create something like giving examples and evaluate it.


  • ·      To remember our presentation, we need remember previously learned information.
  • ·      To understand our presentation, we need to demonstrate an understanding of facts.
  • ·      To apply our presentation, we need to apply knowledge to actual situations
  • ·      To analyze our presentation, we need to break down objects into simpler parts.
  • ·      To evaluate our presentation, we need to make and defend judgments based on internal criteria.
  • ·      To create our presentation, we need to compile ideas into a new whole.

Bloom's pyramid level 2!




In level 2 of Bloom’s pyramid, it is getting harder, it is harder than level 1. Here are the criteria’s:

  • ·      Remembering, to get a “40” or an “E”
  • ·      Understanding, to get a “50+” or a “D”
  • ·      Applying your presentation, to get a “60+” or a “C”
  • ·      Analyzing what you are presenting to get a “70+” or a “ B”
  • ·      Evaluating the presentation to get a “80+” or an “A”
  • ·      Creating examples out of what you present to get a “90+” or an “A+”
