Term Break

For this whole week, we don't have any classes or even better, there is no school for this whole week. *Yay!* Time to play! Wait... we won't have any History classes then... *sniff*, but it is okay, we will have them next week. We don't have classes because it is term break, and it is awesome! This is the first day of the term break, and it is already super dooper awesome.

Happy term breaks everyone, well... for Springfield students though... but if you guys happen to have a term break too, then happy term breaks to you all.

Week 11, Class 2

Today is almost the same with the last class, we have our normal teaching things, the Ldls, according to us, the Ldls are very fun! We teach the team, and at the same time, we are learning from what we teach.
1. Today, like always, Mr. Rick. Wow! He is putting dough in our pizza box! Lots though... But anyways, let's get started! Before class starts, Mr. Mak is in the class, he is also a very friendly teacher, just like Mr. Rick, they both are just like Best Buddies, because they have the same exact characteristics, anyways, this is what Mr. Mak looks like before the class starts!

Then, Mr. Rick just came in the class, he looks at his watch first, before paying anything, and this is what it looks like:

Then, he realizes that he was late for class by 2 minutes, and he pays and put his money in the pizza box, this is what it looks like:

Then, we talk about our money in the pizza box, then the money is about Rp. 200000, and it is too little, so we did lots of inspections, and one of them is the book check, many people fall for this, and this is what it looks like when we did the book check.

So, they all pay for their own infractions. *sniff* (applies to people who didn't bring their book), one of the person got infracted for wearing their shirts too long, so they got infracted for that. (So sorry that we don't have the picture for that)

2. After all these things, Mr. Rick teaches the whole class about the topic for today, and it is about "Why did the French support the revolution?" this is what it looks like when he teaches the whole class:

The lecture is all about the French Revolution, there are 2 people, they are Jean Paul Marat and Charlotte Corday, they both have a relation to the French Revolution, and Jean Paul Marat was hiding from people, and he go into sewers, and sooner or later he got a disease called Prurigo, and it can only be healed with antiseptics, but back then, there was none of those, so he used vinegars instead of the antiseptic, and sooner or later, he was killed.

After Mr. Rick lectures us this, we all have no idea about the disease, then Mr. Rick ask us to do a research on the disease, and this is what our research looks like:

We were the first ones to react to the picture, then after minutes, the whole class reacted. Then Mr. Rick laughed at our group, because we reacted so funny. (Tip: if you want to see the picture really clearly, click on it, but if you wish not to look at it, please don't, because you will be grossed out, I mean... seriously!)

3.After we all know the picture, Mr. Rick shouted his routine before any teachings and said:"Class?" Then we all respond:"Yes?" Mr. rick shouted "TEACH!!!!!!" The we said "OK!!!!!!!!"

Then the team teachers teach each other the topic, and this is Kim Hyun from our team teaching the team, this is what it looks like:

While Kim Hyun is teaching the team, the team takes down notes on what she is explaining, and this is what it looks like:

Well, that is only 1 person in the team who take notes. While all these things happen, Mr. Rick grades each of the teams, and this is what it looks like when Mr. Rick grades the other teams...

Then, Mr. Rick grades our team, and he really pays attention to Kim Hyun's teaching, and this is what it looks like:

Then, when he realizes that there is a camera that is going to flash, he did something like this:

Then, after 15 minutes, the time to teach was done! *What a relief!*

Then, class time was over. Bye bye History class and hello Science class! *Yay* Science time! Not that we don't like History, in fact, we love History it is just that we love Science! And we are excited for it!

4. On what we can improve better next time is that we can try to appreciate other's hard work, at least give respect to their work.

Week 11, Class 1

Today is another day of Ldl *sigh* but it is okay. Ldls are quite fun. Well, actually, they are the most fun thing to do in History. So let's get started!
1. Today, like usual, Mr. Rick is late. :( Actually, there are positive and negative things of being late, the first is that Mr. Rick gets to make the pizza money increase, and that is positive, but the bad thing is that he will get money out of his pocket... well, at least, we can get money for the pizza box. Now, we have about Rp.200000 in the pizza box. Yay!!!!!!! It means there are lots of people getting infracted for their mistakes, except for our team, we are innocent, well, as we all know, we never payed. But maybe the "boy" in the team have payed for his colored shoes! But anyways, only one person in the team pay for the pizza box. There is no pizza bow yet, so the treasurer keeps it in her pocket. I 'm not quite sure that it is that safe in a pocket, but anyways, the money is still there, nothing lost! :D
 So anyways, let's get back to the point, this is a picture of Mr. Rick coming in class late! This is what it looks like:

Then, Mr. Rick took out his money out of his pocket, he didn't give out a Rp.5000 in a note itself, but he combine it from 3 notes of Rp. 1000, and 1 note of Rp.2000. (We are really sorry that we don't have the picture of the money, but next time, we will try to take the picture in a faster way.) 

2. After that, Mr. Rick lectures us the topic for today, and it is " Why did the French support the revolution?" this is what it looks like when he lectures the topic to us:

And before the Ldl thing happens, he did his routine, and it is:" Are you ready guys... TEACH!" Then the whole class shouted:"OKAY!" Then the whole teachers of each team teaches their own team.

Then, Mr. Rick gives us time to play a game. The game is battlefield academy. This is the hardest game ever. No one ever get to win in the whole universe ( A bit of exaggeration there....) The game was so hard that 1 person just completely give up, and "she" took a picture of things, and the funniest was this one... 

That is a picture of Chris' head being picked up by a mysterious hand. Hmm... looks like his head is being decapitated, aha! This reminds me, it is like Louis the 16th, his head got decapitated, but he is guillotined, not picked up by a mysterious hand... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

Then, we continued to play the game, and for surely, she doesn't play the game, because he gave it all up already... so yeah, she doesn't play, and then minutes passed, and the time is up, so it is time to call it a day, and History class is over, time for some Mandarin class... *sigh* We would rather have History classes, but we have to get out of class and go to mandarin class, so ya... bye bye histowy cwass (History class in Baby language!) 

3. For the things that we can improve better on is that we can try to be more persevere and try to do all the things, and try as hard as we can, so that we can achieve the maximum things.

Week 10, Class 2

Today is the day when people freak out. Aaaaaaaaaaaa! Okay... that is enough. *not gonna freak out that much* but anyways.... let's get started.
1. Today, we are going to face the test, but before the test begins, Mr. Rick tells us the trick on handling the test, he said that we shouldn't panic before the test, so the expression before is quite a bad example *tee hee*, but anyways, he told us that message, so now we know that we shouldn't panic. This is what it looks like when Mr. Rick is telling us the message:

Then, Mr. Rick makes the quiz available, this is what it looks like when Mr. Rick is opening the quiz in his "royal" computer:

Then, in minutes, the quiz is opened for everyone, so we start to do the quiz, and this is what the quiz looks like:

Before we do anything else, Mr. Rick told us the scores, and there are 4 students in this class who get 80-90 scores, and they are Gabriela Tjandra, Jennifer Gunawan, Jaden Josefin and Justin Charis Chandra, congratulations to you all! *Yipee* (Time to rejoice)

Then, after everyone is done doing the test, Mr. Rick ask us to play a game, all the gamers in the class got so excited that one person opened Minecraft, but then, Mr. Rick say that we will play Battlefield academy, so they sadly closed their Minecraft. Others laughed, and we all think that the Battlefield academy game is very fun, but super challenging, anyways, this is what it looks like:

Then, after minutes, the class is over, time for Science, yay, but nooo, because we are going to leave History class. (Doesn't mean that we hate Science or History, we LOVE both of them)

2. On what we can improve better next time, we can try to have more strategy in playing games. Be more creative!

Week 10, Class 1

Today, is the most shocking day ever, we are supposed to have the test today, as it was said last week, but we fortunately didn't have the test and everyone was so relieved.
1. Today, we have a "le revision" which also means revision according to Mr. Rick, but anyways, we have a revision. But before we start, Mr. Rick is rehearsing for his praise and worship, and he plays the guitar, the song is "Dance like David danced" and this is what it looks like:

After he is done with the praise and worship, we start the class, we start by Mr. Rick telling us study points in a form of questions, so that we will be studying from those things only, and not other things, so this is what the study questions look like:

There was one particular question about Marie Antoinette, queen of France, it was about her rumours, and Mr. Rick say that it changed as time goes by, then we had a little fun activity, the activity is to create a circle and we will whisper to each other the answer, and this is what it looks like, the person in the middle with the blue shirt is our teacher, he is Mr. Rick, how nice, he is so friendly, and this is what it looks like:

One of the members of the Spring team ruined the picture using her 2 fingers on the left side, but it is okay, we can still post this, but anyways, the game was fun. The message was first told by Mr. Rick, then it travels through out the whole class, the message was:"Robespierre quickly get his head chopped off." then at the end of the game, the message changed to:"Robespierre got him cut off." *wow!* it really the message really changed! And this concludes us that rumours of Marie Antoinette changed as time goes by. 

After we are done with this activity, we sat back down, and Mr. Rick showed us a video, it is quite funny, and the movie style is quite old, so yeah, we have to bear with it, but don't get us wrong, this movie is awesome, especially, if it is chosen by our teacher. Well... technically, she was watching the video, but when she saw the flashing lights of the camera, she stared at it, so she looks at the camera like that. *Sorry Thea, but I need to post this picture for the blog's sake* but anyways, she was watching the video, so it is okay to post it here.

2. On what we can improve better next time, we can concentrate on the video better, and try to watch the video, not just take pictures when the video is playing.

Week 9, Class 2

Today, is probably the best time of History class in History, wait... maybe this don't make sense, but anyways, we have free time, or as you say in History class, Tech time.. Yipee!!!!!!

1. Okay, let's get started, today, Mr. Rick is late by minutes, not really that long after time, but still, we need to give him an infraction, so, he needs to pay, and this is what it looks like:

After he came in class, he just realized that he don't have any money in his pocket, and he said that his money is all with his wife, because his wife's philosophy is that her money belongs to her and Mr. Rick's money belongs to her too... Hmm, a new philosophy? But anyways, he can't pay any money, so he got an IOU from the treasurer, The IOU is given to people if they don't pay for their infractions. This is Mr. Rick trying to find money in his wallet:

Then, he ask the whole class wether we are done with any assignment from schoology or not, if we haven't then we can visit Schoology and do all the work to change those "zeros" into "heroes". Surprisingly, everyone is done with the Schoology assignments. Yay!!!! So, Mr. Rick tell us the questions that we made on the 1st day of History class. We need to type really fast for this, because Mr. Rick reads it like a train *choo choo* (JK!) After Mr. Rick is done with the talking, Mr. Rick ask us to review those questions. They are quite challenging, and while we are trying to answer the questions, Mr. Rick allow us to have the free time (tech time) YAY!!!!!! Then Mr. Rick told us that he loose 2kg this week, WOW!!! Amazing!!! Then he told us a story about himself on the weighing process, and it was surprisingly amazing even though it have nothing to do with History, he is so friendly. :D This is what it looks like when he is telling us all of that:

2. On what we can improve better next time is that we can be more active in class and talk more!!! We hope that we can do it!

Week 9, Class 1

Today is very unique, we have 3 topics coming in 1 day, amazing!
1. Yay!!!!! Mr. Rick isn't late in coming to class! But noooooo, we don't get money for the pizza box, so there are good and bad things of Mr. Rick coming in the class early, but anyways... let's get started.

First of all, Mr. Rick tells us that there are 3 topics for today, 2 topics will be taught by Mr. Rick and 1 topic will be thought by Joanne, one of the members of the Delta or Bravo team, we forgot, but anyways, it isn't that important, and so, this is Mr. Rick telling the information:

Then, Joanne start the lecture, but her face don't get that pink, strange... but oh well, here is Joanne teaching the class, she looks nervous but no pink face, but anyways, let's not talk about that and just move on... and this is Joanne teaching the class:

After Joanne is done teaching the class, she get back to her seat and we feel quite pity to her, because she don't get claps or anything, how bad, but anyways, after she is done with her lecture, Mr. Rick teach the whole class about "Why did the French execute their king?" While Mr. Rick is lecturing the class, we write notes on section 1 of our coursework file. We wrote lots of notes, but unfortunately, he talk too fast towards the end of the presentation, but he was okay in the middle, but we (the spring team) still can cope with it, so there are not much problems. After he is done lecturing, we all got our hands tired (aduh pegal) *never mind that expression* then, we thought that Mr. Rick is going to lecture us another topic, but he don't *sigh*, Mr. Rick ask us to study it by ourselves, although, we prefer Mr. Rick lecturing the class, because his lectures are awesome! But, anyways, we can't do anything with it, so yeah, we don't complain, because we RESPECT. 

Mr. Rick gave us time to do awesome stuff, like making our own questions for the test *yay!!!* the question for the test that we make is:

And the answer is Montmedy. 

Mr. Rick say that he is going to put some of the questions in the test, and we hope that our question will be posted in the test, but if it is not posted then... *sigh*, but anyways, it will be fun. 

2. After we are done with this activity, Mr. Rick talk to us about the 7 deadly sins, but the whole class thought that it was the seven daily sims, which don't really make sense, and luckily, some members of the Spring team know the real phrase, so only our team answer this question. Wahooooo! Yipeeee! This is what the web look like:

Only 1 member in the team say the answer to Mr. Rick, because it is not necessary for the whole team to say the answer all at once, because it is quite ridiculous, and we obviously don't do that, so yeah, only 1 member in the team answer Mr. Rick.

The seven deadly sins are the wrath, greed, sloth, pride, lust, envy, gluttony. They are deadly. They are sins that are really not nice to have that in our lives, so we need to try to avoid doing such things.

3. We have lots of discussions today, our team discussed about the seven deadly sins before we get out of the class. There are lots of questions that are floating in our minds, we are so confused, so we questioned each other, and we end up in an argument *sigh*, but we somehow get our answers. (Sometimes, well most of the times, arguments aren't the answer to questions, so try not to argue, but it is okay of you must, but DON'T fight) 

4. On what we can improve better next time, we can try to put our ears in a better listening mode, so that we can do better in class, and try to take down notes and take more pictures for the blog so that it can be more interesting :D
