Week 8, Class 2

Today is extreme different from the other days, because we have 3 teachers teaching, and Mr. Rick don't even teach the class, so it is quite weird.

1. Usually, teachers in each team will 15 minutes, but this time, teachers teach only 8minutes, and in our team, if the teachers are done teaching before the time, they will repeat everything again, so that they will have something to talk about. Before there are teachers teaching the team, we shouted "You're late!" to Mr. Rick, then he look at his watch, and say that he isn't late at all, so we are all amazed, and we all laughed, the History room is rocked with laughter. Yay! 2 seconds party... but anyways, this is what it looks like:

After that, Mr. Rick tells us such things, while he sit down in his "royal chair" and this is what it looks like:

Then the first teacher teaches the team, and in our team, it is Kim Hyun who teach the team, she improves a lot from the first day she came to school, before, she can barely say a single word, and this time, she can say words more fluently compared on what she used to do. Then when each teacher is teaching, Mr. Rick grade each of the team, and this is what it looks like: 

Actually Mr. Rick is grading, but when he see one of the members holding the computer with the camera on... he did something like that, such a friendly teacher, and Hi!  :D

After 8 minutes, Gaby yell "Time!" Then, the whole class stopped teaching the team, and the next teacher is assigned to teach, and in our team, Daphne is the next teacher who teach to the team, and she doesn't let her face and anything to be in the picture, and she got somehow angry, so, there is no picture of her face, and only her laptop, so this is what it looks like:

Then another "Time!!!" was shouted from the boys, and it is way louder than Gaby's but it's okay, and it doesn't matter.

The next teacher is up, and before anyone takes a picture of her, we ask her if we are allowed to take a picture of her, and she allows us to take a picture of her, and she is Anthea, and this is what it looks like when she teaches the team: 

2. There were lots of discussions, and lots of BHQs are asked, and one of them is: "What are the massacres?" Then the answer according to her is a type of battle. 

3. Teachings were done, and the teachers are assessed.

4. On what we can do better next time is that we can ask much more BHQs, and try to explain more, and plus we need to be more intelligent and research a lot. yay! Research time!!!

Week 8, Class 1

Today is super different from the other days, today, we have our IT based test, and we all freak out, so we study a bit, before we tackle the IT based test, and it was so hard, it looks like this, but before that, it have a button to begin test or quiz, and now, there isn't, because the test is done earlier in the afternoon at school, so the test is no longer there available for us to do it again, so this is what it looks like:

1. Today we have our IT based test, and Mr. Rick is not late at all, and thank God for that, or else we will get our test later than when we are supposed to do it. Before we do the test, Mr. Rick ask us whether we play the game that he asks us to play or not, and some of the students in this class say that they do, so Mr. Rick got confident with us, and just let us do the test, so as soon, as he allows us to do the test, we do it, and we did it as fast as possible, it was awesome. The test was incredibly hard, but for those who don't study, it may be their hardest stuff to do. The highest grade so far was 72% and the person's name wasn't revealed in Schoology (place where we do the test), so we don't know who it was. But anyways, no one even get the idea of the test, and to be honest the test wasn't that hard, but it was very tricky, and almost no one at all in our class are able to do the test, so many just pick any random letter and just write it any how, if they are lucky enough, they might get it right, but if they aren't lucky enough, they might get it wrong and get bad scores. After all of us are done with the test, Mr. Rick turned the test off, and no one else is allowed to do the test again, and if anyone try to do the test, it won't be possible, because Mr. Rick have already closed it.

After that, it is paradise time, we have no more test, and we are free from the hands of the test. Yipee. Wait, let's don't get too excited and let's just move on. Okay, the next thing we got is that we see the time, and look at it, and there are 30 minutes left, and so Mr. Rick ask us to do anything in schoology, and complete all the assignments, and that is what we exactly did. After we are done with the assignments in schoology, the time is up, and so we go to our next classes.

2. There were no discussions held during the test, but during the time when we are asked to do the assignment, we are discussing a lot, and in class, when we discuss, it is like the birds chirping all together and creating a wonderful music, but anyways, we talk a lot. For today, there are no BHQs, because we don't have teaching at all. But on Friday, as there is a notice in Schoology, say that there will be 3 teachers teaching for next week, so it is nice to know that there will be teachers teaching. Yay!!! It'll be very fun.

3. For what we can do better next time is to study more before we have tests, so that we won't struggle that much when we do the test.

*: We are so sorry that we don't post as many pictures as we usually do, because we can't take pictures during the test time, so we end up having 2 pictures for this post. Once again, we are so sorry. We hope that you will understand us.

Week 7, Class 2

Today, we are super nervous and we are cracking. Today, we are for surely going to present, because we are the only team left, and there is Aaron from the Echo team, present by himself, because last time he was absent.
1. Today is the most scary day ever, all of us get so pink, except, for Kris, one of the team member, because he is just too confident, and we are so nervous, and we are so sorry, because we can't take our picture when we are presenting, so we just present. But before that, we can't find Mr. Rick in class. This is what it looks like in his chair,

Then, after some time, Mr. Rick come in, and we, as a whole class shouted very loudly, "You're late!" because we are so desperate of getting the pizza party. This is what the situation looks like:

Then he gets to pay in the pizza box. This is what it looks like, he pays Rp. 5000 and if any students get an infraction, we pay Rp. 2000 and this is what it looks like, when he is paying:

Then he excuses himself to go out, and while he is gone, we did book check, and 2 people got an infraction, so they both get to pay, and they are in the same group, the both of them are from the Bravo team, this is what the book check look like:  

Then Mr. Rick come back, he quickly get to his chair, and check who will be up next, and before that, he talks about the word "aduh" and he said that it is for people who will get married, and they say "aduh" then he made laughter fly around the class, then Daphne's face, especially got very pink and pale, because she is so nervous, and no one else got that pink, and that is her reaction when there is a presentation, last time, when we are in grade 6, we have science fair, and we get to present, and she got paler and paler and pinker and pinker as she present. The time has come, we need to present, and since we can't take pictures of ourselves, like "selfies", we don't have pictures of our own presentation, how sad. :( 2 people in our team got bonus points, the people are Jennifer and Anthea, yay!!!! In class, there are only 3 people who get bonus 10 points, and the other one is Jaden, from the Bravo team. 

Then, after we are done, it is Aaron's turn to present, and he is from the Echo team. This is what it looks like: 

Then Mr. notice that his grammar is so nice, and he concluded that he is just copy pasting stuff, like a parrot, and he is concluded to be plagiarizing someone's work. This is what it looks like:

Then he is stopped from presenting, he got a 0% on his presentation. How sad, because no one graded him. ThenMr. Mak, our Worldview teacher came in the class, he made faces, and this is what it looks like:

Then the class is done, Yay!!! TGIF, but there is Science, so we don't directly go home. But, for surely, Science will be very fun, I am really sure about that. 

2. On what we can improve better next time, we can try not to plagiarize other's work if they don't allow you to do so, it will lead to a 0%.

Week 7, Class 1

Today is the same like last week, we have team presentations, There is only 1 team who present, because when Mr. want to start the 2nd team, the computer broke.
1. Mr. Rick prepares first for the team presentations, then the team presents, the team that presents today is the Charlie team and they name it Hurrican or something, the team thinks that they can't spell their names properly, but anyways, they present quite well, one member in the team explain a lot, but in that no one in that team get bonus points :( but I think they can get next time if there is more team presentations, and this is the first team presenting today:

And before anything happens, Mr. Rick ask for a time keeper, and Daphne, one member in the Spring team raised her friend's hand, Jennifer, so she ended up being the time keeper again. *sigh* But anyways, this is the evidence:

Then, Mr. Rick ask the Spring team to be up next, our heartbeat raced... and we can't concentrate, and Daphne, one of the team member in the Spring team got so pink, well, apparently, everyone is pink, but anyways, we come up front, and somehow the computer broke, so we don't present. Cheers!!! For not presenting, but we are really sorry for the computer...    :(

Then, Mr. Rick try to come up with something interesting, he came up with talking about the upcoming things and discussing how the game works. This is what it looks like:

But we don't have time to play the game, so we will play it at home. But anyways, Class time is done, and Mr. Mak, Mr. Rick's best friend and they both just always get along, Mr. Mak is the gadget guy, so he fixes everything, amazing! Actually, we still have 5 more minutes, but since the rule is to dismiss the students early, we get dismissed early. Cheers!!!

2. On what we can improve better next time is try to relax and calm down before presenting.

Week 6, Class 2

Today is almost the same as last Tuesday, there are team presentations going on. Last time, only 1 team present, but this time, there are 2 teams who present, they are the echo and the Bravo team. Finally, for the 1st time today, there was an infraction, and the infraction is Mr. Rick coming late to class, only about 5 minutes or so.
1. Like usual, Mr. Rick talks a little bit about the team presentations, and prepares for the team presentations, and today he came late to class, so he got an infraction and payed Rp. 5000 to the pizza box. Yay! More money in the pizza box, but still, we are far from the pizza party, but anyways, this is what it looks like:

Mr. Rick ask for a person to volunteer and be the time keeper, and no one raised or volunteered, so one of the member in the Spring team made another person to raise her hand, and it was Daphne doing it to Jennifer, so she becomes the time keeper last Tuesday and today, but we don't think that next week anyone from our group will be the time keeper, because next week, we are going to present, but anyways, this is the tab that we go to, it is www.timer-tab.com, it looks like this:

Then the battle begins. Well... not necessarily a battle, but you know, the team presentations begin. The first team is the Echo team, there are 4 members, they are: Aurelia, Deandrew, Marco and Aaron, but Aaron don't come to History class, because he is sick. But it's okay, the team still present, and Aaron will present next week.

Then, we still have 5 minutes left, Mr. Rick ended up singing a song with his guitar. He played" I will dance like David danced". It goes like this: "When the spirit of the Lord comes upon my heart, I will dance like David danced, I will dance, I will dance....."

2.On what we can improve better next time, is to participate in more activities.

Week 6, Class 1

Today is super different from the other days, today we have team presentations. The whole class thought that we are all going to present today, but luckily we all don't present today. Phew... that was a relief.
1. Today, there are team presentations, Mr. Rick expects us to have 2 groups present today, but, only 1 group present and the rest of the time, Mr. Rick gives us examples about how to make our presentations more deeper. He made 1 sentence that will take us less than 1 minute to read into the whole 3 minute talk, non-stop. Before any of us present our presentations, Mr. Rick make us get random numbers, and our group got the number 5, but the whole team was hoping to get the number 3, but it is okay.

The group thought that it is 3, because the big number is 3, but Mr. Rick goes for the small one, so we got number 5, and we are the last one. :( How sad... But anyways....

Then, Mr. Rick gave us these papers for us to grade the team that present.

After that, Mr. Rick arrange the people on who will present, and then he finds the presentations from his email.

Then when the presentation is already up on the screen, they start to present their stuff. The people who present are from the Delta team, there are Gaby, Iva, Joanne and Jason. The 4 of them did well on their presentations.

Mr Rick asks the whole class whether anyone wears a stopwatch, and surprisingly, no one did. So, Mr. Rick asked a volunteer to open the laptop and go to www.timer-tab.com to get the stopwatch and someone in our team really did that. While the team present their stuff, the time keeper, Jennifer, tells the whole class about the time taken for each of the people to finish their talking.

2. No one got the infractions. Hurray!!! There was no discussions today, because there are only team presentations, well maybe when we need to grade them. 

3. On what we can improve better next time is that we need to be more active in class, and catch people when they are doing infractions, so the pizza box will get more and more money in it.
