- Today's topic is about "What was life like before the French Revolution?" This is the 2nd time we learned about this topic. Mr. Rick divides this topic into 2 parts, and this is the second part. This is Mr. Rick reminding us about the 3 estates ( it is just a recap for us in preparation to watch the video):While Mr. Rick is lecturing, the class takes notes on Section 1 of the coursework file (place where we take notes):Today, Mr. Rick didn't lecture much, and so, he gave us a video to watch. This is the video that we watched. Well, it isn't only that scene that we watch, but we watched more than that, this frame is only in the half part of the video, so the video runs for about 5 minutes than this lady pops out in the screen.....The whole class watched the video, and they loved it and enjoyed it, but some are just stressed out, because the person in the video speaks quite fast. The group also watched the video, but we can't take a picture of the whole team, because the computer camera can't take the whole thing.2. After the video, Mr. Rick tells us more about the French Revolution, and he spotted an infraction, (we have an agreement in History that we need to pay Rp. 2000 to the pizza box whenever there is an infraction), Mr. Rick in this case is the one who spotted the infraction, it looks like this:Those 3 boys at the back are the ones who got the infractions, so they payed this to the pizza box. There are infractions like talking when someone is talking, comming late to class, for the girls: their hair tied back, for the boys: their under shirt, the under shirt musn't be below the uniform. And luckily, everyone followed these rules well, but except for the 3 boys at the back of the class who don't follow the rules.3. Then we have the teachings, the teacher for today is Anthea, she is supposed to be the teacher for last week, but she was absent, so Kim Hyun Joo replaced her teaching, and Anthea replace Kim Hyun Joo's teaching which is today. She prepared the presentation quite okay, and luckily, it is 10 minutes long, and everyone is asked to do a 10 to 15 minutes long presentation, so she is just right in doing the presentation, at least. Then the team writes down the notes in section 2 of the coursework file.4. What we can do better is that we can be more diligent in doing our work. We also need to write more notes when Mr. Rick is lecturing to us.
